John Tattersall is Chairman of the board of UK Asset Resolution (including Bradford & Bingley PLC and NRAM Limited), and a non-executive director on the board of UBS Business Solutions AG. He is also Chair of two charities, a trustee of three others, a non-stipendiary priest in the Church of England and an Honorary Canon of Christ Church Cathedral in Oxford.
Clare Bates
Clare is the General Counsel & Group Company Secretary of Vistry Group PLC. Vistry Group are a FTSE250 company who build sustainable new homes and communities under the brands of Bovis Homes, Linden Homes, Drew Smith and Vistry Partnerships. The Group’s partnerships business works closely with Government bodies, housing associations and local authorities to support their social and affordable housing needs. She oversees the legal, compliance, company secretarial, corporate governance, internal audit, risk management and data privacy functions.
Prior to Vistry, Clare was the Deputy General Counsel and Company Secretary of ConvaTec Group Plc, a FTSE250 provider of medical devices and healthcare solutions for people living with chronic conditions.
Ian Coleman
Ian Coleman is currently a non-executive director or consultant to organisations in the banking, property, professional services, and health sectors. He consults on business strategy, financial management, corporate transactions and restructurings, and business valuations (including undertaking expert witness work). By background he is an international business leader having led the global development of PricewaterhouseCoopers’ Valuation & Strategy practice for over eight years. Prior to joining PwC Ian worked as an investment manager at 3i, a venture capital firm.
Tom Hackett
Tom Hackett is a member of the board of trustees of a number of UK charities and, prior to retirement, was Director General, Lending, at the European Investment Bank.
Tim Jones
Chief Executive of the Allia Group for 17 years from 2002 – 2019 and now Chairman, Tim has overseen a range of new thinking and new solutions seeking to address global and local challenges including future business initiatives to drive impact entrepreneurship and start-ups across the country and social finance initiatives for impact investment through Employment Bonds, Housing Bonds and London Stock Exchange Listed Retail Charity Bonds.

Naomi Roper
Naomi is a partner and the Head of Banking within Capsticks based in London. Naomi specialises in social housing finance where she has decades of experience acting for borrowers and lenders in the social housing sector. Naomi is an ESG specialist working in the fields of green, social and sustainable finance and impact measurement. Naomi provides advice on green loans, social loans and sustainability linked loans and bonds. She can provide guidance and bespoke training on non-financial reporting and ESG readiness, Naomi is a valued speaker on the topics of ESG and green, social and sustainable finance. She was part of the original working group for the Sustainability Reporting Standard for UK Social Housing and most recently she was part of the working group developing the LMA’s Sustainability Linked Loan Principles for Real Estate Finance. Naomi sits on the City of London Law Society’s ESG Committee.
Ram Goyal
Ram Goyal was MD for Hallmark Care Homes until 2020, helping to build a renowned care home group with his brother Avnish.
Ram’s family-run business, BRAN, is an investment company investing in health and social care, technology with social impact, and ethical and vegan produce.
Ram is also a Trustee for One Footstep charity and is in the process of setting up a new charity called Human Kind, to help alleviate loneliness and create greater social cohesion and support in our community.
Amelie Busch
Amelie is an Investment Director at Better Society Capital, a financial institution dedicated to social impact investment in the UK. Her role includes sourcing and transacting on investments across real estate, venture capital and debt investments, on behalf of Better Society Capital and the Schroder BSC Social Impact Trust plc.
Prior to joining Better Society Capital, she earned her MBA from the University of Oxford’s Said Business School. Prior to that she spent seven years at FactSet Research Systems, most recently managing the relationships with the firm’s bulge bracket bank clients and advising on solutions ranging from multi-asset portfolio analytics to quantitative workflows.

Henrietta has over 30 years’ experience in the bond markets, largely in the wholesale bond markets and covering most industry sectors. This includes advising on the UK’s PFI/PPP programme, and also leading the debut issue for THFC No.2. Her particular expertise lies in providing advice for housing associations.

Mark has over 25 years’ experience in the financial markets, advising a variety of investors ranging from wealth managers, family offices, managed funds, financial institutions and corporates. Core areas of expertise include sterling bonds with a focus on off-benchmark, LSE/ORB retail-eligible bonds, and socially responsible investment. More recently, in addition to conventional corporate bond primary placement and trading, Mark has managed the distribution of RCBs for a range of charitable borrowers across the specialist housing, care and finance sectors. Mark is a member of the CISI, a member of PIMFA Corporate Bond Committee and the author of the Sterling Bond & Fixed Income Handbook.

Archie is a DCM Executive at Allia C&C providing support to organisations looking to access debt markets. Archie covers a range of clients and his key area of focus is on ESG organisations. Archie’s key areas of responsibility include producing bond market reporting and pricing, project management of new issues and investor updates.
Phil Caroe

Phil has been involved in the development of impact investing in the UK for 10 years, and to date has worked on the issue of £300 million of bonds to support organisations across sectors including housing, care and education. This includes eight issues through RCBs, a groundbreaking platform developed by Allia to raise unsecured debt for charities through bonds listed on London Stock Exchange.
George Wallis-Smith

George joined Allia C&C as a Sales Trader after two years at ICAP where he worked on the New Issue Desk, focusing on Primary and Grey Market trade execution. At Allia C&C George’s key areas of responsibility are to provide information on market conditions and to help with price discovery for a variety of buy and sell-side clients, in order to facilitate secondary market fixed-income trading across several currencies including GBP, EUR and USD.
